This experiment is a part of Lab from my Measurement class, which have all procedures as a good sample of engineering design and team work. So I'll list all my procedure below with a brief explanation.
1. Define The Problem
Objective: The objective of this lab is to become familiar with the calibration and measurement of pressure flow and their application in determining the performance a centrifugal fan.
2. Gather Pertinent Information
As a group, we used multiple method to gather information. First, we observed experiment instruments to get familiar with whole procedures. Second, we read all manuals about these instruments to obtain instruments properties. Third, we searched online to study others' failure and success sample to avoid mistakes. Then we developed and separated the problem to four parts below:
a. Pressure Transducer
b. Flowmeter
c. Wattmeter
To calibrate those instruments we need gather information by experiment.
